Frosted Designs Challenge - Ribbon/Twine/Washi
Frosted Designs challenge for the next two weeks is Ribbon/Twine/Washi. The project is to use at least two of them. For this challenge, I alcohol ink-dyed a vase and used all three. How simple and quick with the end result being a great gift.

Frosted Designs Blog Hop
Mums, daughters, girlfriends, sisters, mother in laws, could be any photo you've had with any other lady in your life, a photo you have with mum on your wedding day, or you and your daughter on a holiday, even a party with the girlfriends, the list goes on. If it's a card or OTP project, it just has to be girly, the more girly the better.
For my project, I created a journal using a composition notebook. The front cover is below.
We have 2 amazing sponsors for our Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Blog Hop....
The first sponsor is Artsy Albums!!!
After a 17 year career in the pharmaceutical industry that just didn't tap into my creative side enough, I retired and went to work in the scrapbook industry. I have enjoyed designing albums, store samples, classes, and kits so much that I recently decided to take a leap of faith and open my own company.
Artsy Albums is a product of a deeply rooted passion. After losing my mom to breast cancer when I was a teenager, I learned the importance of our memories, the pictures we take, and the stories that may never get told if we do not document them. I truly love to create beautiful albums that focus on the photos and the stories behind them. I also enjoy creating mini album kits that are fun to put together, easy, and affordable. If you love to scrapbook, try an Artsy Albums kit to create your next project!
I always welcome the opportunity to help you turn your photos into a keepsake that will be shared for generations. www.facebook.com/artsyalbums

Frosted Designs Challenge - Punches
WOW! The three-day weekend really through me off! I had the Frosted Designs challenge project completed by last Wednesday and every day I told myself to take the photos, take the photos, take the photos. Normally, I put off taking photos when it is dark, gray, dreary, and rainy. I prefer to take my photos on the sunny days. Yes, I could use my OTT lamp or other means but I rely on the weather. With each passing day of gray weather, so did the photo. But then it hit me on Monday (which I thought was Sunday) that the Frosted Designs Challenge was due and I was late. I don't like nor do I "do" late very well at all.
Here is the card I created for this weeks challenge at Frosted Designs - to use punch/es. I actually made a card (mostly because I don't own many punches at all).

I love tulips and had both a border punch and individual punch that worked for this project.

Frosted Designs Challenge - Sketch & Doilies
Imagination gives us wings... that is the theme I used for the challenge at Frosted Designs this week.
It started with a sketch:
Using gelatos, fiber paste, stencil, brayer, embossing folder, and pearl ex, I created the below.
Come join us at Frosted Designs. Show us your interpretation of the sketch.

Frosted Designs Challenge - Scallops
The next challenge at Frosted Designs is scallops. Recently I acquired this mermaid stamp and her fish tail is scalloped. Using the canvas bags from 3 Girl Jam and my fabric markers I scalloped the background and colored the mermaid. The bow is from ribbon sent from a friend because it reminded her of mermaids. I had to incorporate that, too, into the bag. It looks so much better in person.
Thanks for looking! Come play along at Frosted Designs and the scallop challenge.
