What a day
A day to take our youngest shopping for college supplies
But then my phone rings
My dear hubbie
Asking me to come home immediately
Knowing that is not good
Tell me
What is wrong
What has happened
130 layoffs within his company
He is affected
Laid off
Now.. so many unknowns
Why him
He has always given 100% plus
Why not the those under him that were HR headaches
Constantly
What to do now
How to walk away from it all
Imagine how my dear hubbie feels
when I am
feeling
Blah.

Oh gosh, sorry to hear that! My husband was out with my oldest daughter buying her stuff for college too. Not cheap, and a very bad time for a layoff!
I am sorry to hear this! I hope he is able to find a new job soon!
Hi
I found your blog today and am now a new follower.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your husband's job. I'm facing the same thing. My company is closing our office and moving it to Austin, TX.
It's been 2 weeks now since they came in made an announcement. They fired half of the people that day and offered the rest of us positions in Austin, Tx. I was unable to move because my husband has a job that he's had for 20 years, so I mean, moving was not an option for my family, so I have found myself unemployed.
If you need an ear, please feel free to contact me. sanderson@bigriver.net. I hope that things will work out. It's a scary time to be out of work.
Sherri
