The Perfect Sentiment: Marriage Anniversary Challenge

At this time of the year most have the hustle and bustle of the holidays on their minds.  This week The Perfect Sentiment gives you a challenge to relax for a moment  from all the holiday energy.

We are sponsored this week by Shelly's Images.  The winner will receive a $9 gift voucher equivalent to three digital images.  Be sure to check out Shelly's Images and all the fantastic images available.

The challenge:

Theme - Marriage Anniversary
Twist:  Use the photo to the left as inspiration

Due to the holiday season, this challenge remains open for an additional week, up to 10 PM EST,  Tuesday, December 27.

My initial glance at this photo saw only white and flowers.  After looking closer much more popped out at me.  Originally, I began with embossing the large flower.  My plan was to double emboss it to bring out the pink in the flowers but my heat embossing tool went kaput.  The large flower represents the bouquet on the table, with a sheer center bloom that matches the trimming at the bottom card to symbolize the various white textures from the sheer curtains to the white flowers to the seat cushions.   To represent the metal in the chandelier and the wrought iron-backed chairs I placed metallic-like pearls throughout my card.
A dry-embossed background on a silver-sheen
cardstock placed on a white base also indicates
textures.

Recipe:
Cardstock:  Stampin' Up White and DCWV Shimmer Stack
Flower:  Stampendous large cling
Dry Embossing:  Stampin' Up Petals-A-Plenty
Base Ribbon:  Unknown from stash
Other Ribbon:  Tim Holtz idea-ology Trimmings - Lavish
Wet Embossing:  A|Muse White Embossing Powder
Stash:  Base ribbon, Metallic Pearls, Square Frame, Rub-Ons

Now, it is time to get your creative groove on but first take a look all The Perfect Sentiment Design Team member's blog for additional inspiration.
