The new Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday challenge is chevron. This challenge started last Friday and runs for two weeks.
For my project I make a tissue box.
If you haven't tried this process, it is easy and simple.
We all have that paper we never have liked and/or will use. Why not give this a try?
First, start by painting the paper with white acrylic paint. Add different paint colors on top of that - I like to mist it a bit to make it easier to spread and blend. Keep layering on color until you reach something you like.
Try painting with stenciling, masking, stamping, misting, 3-D embellishments. The possibilities are endless to creating a paper you do like. then stamping on it, or using mists.
The front chevron pattern is actually a paper towel I had rolled over a stencil from a previous project.
The front flower chevron-stamped muslin highlighted with orange Stickles.
The ribbon around the outside of the cover is from AMuse.
The top shows another piece of paper towel. The chevron pattern has been enhanced with orange Stickles.
Come play along with the Fabulous Friday Frosted Designs Challenge.
