Suggested colors for this week's challenge at The Play Date Cafe:
Azure ... Raspberry ... Blackberry
What a time I had getting photos taken. Between the rain, windy conditions when the sun was shining, and then computer/internet problems I was beginning to think I wouldn't get the card I created linked/posted in time.
I wanted to use one of the Market Street Stamps that I just received. Since I enjoy my morning coffee tremendously I thought ... perfect! Enjoy Today.
In addition, I love the new colors in the Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads - Summer. Raspberry and Salty Ocean were used to represent the Raspberry and Azure colors from this week's challenge. The Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads - Spring - had a Shaded Lilac that I used to mimic the Blackberry part of the challenge.
See the little tea bag? I actually took apart a tea bag, stamped on the paper, colored the little hearts with the Raspberry, and to complete it used the string. The only thing missing from my card is the scent of tea!
The white doily was shaded a bit with Salty Ocean and Shaded Lilac. The ribbon is from May Arts and the twine from The Twinery.
