Frosted Designs Challenge - Give a Gift

Yes, I am back at Frosted Designs and am so fortunate to be amongst a team of very creative and supportive artists.

This week's challenge - Give a Gift

Sponsored by - Cedar Chest Designs

I decided to give a digi image a try so used the snail from Cedar Chest Designs and used my Stampin Up water color pencils for coloring. I cut the tag out and those eyelashes were not easy.  The small tail and head of the snail were colored and cut twice ending with them both being foam mounted to give the snail dimension.

The tag started off plain manila but with a combination of Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads stamped on my craft sheet, spritzed with a bit of water, the tag was dragged through until fully covered. Appearing too plain for my liking I tore a few pieces of Kraft for the bottom and still felt more was needed.  Using a circle stencils I applied Golden Fiber Paste.  I love the texture it adds.

The two little tags are from Stampin Up and read "hand-crafted 4 you".  Pink tulle with sparkle tops off the tag to add the finishing touches.
